From Intern To Permanent Employee
I’m Joining ALTO Network. Here’s my story!
Dina, that’s how most people are calling me, and I am the Talent Acquisition Intern oh not anymore, I’m Talent Acquisition Associate at PT ALTO Network!
By the half of 2021, I was a final year college student who don’t really understand what I have to do after graduation. Is it continuing my study? or should I take some courses? No, I think being an employee in one of the tallest buildings in the capital looks interesting. But what should I prepare? I see a lot of friends or people my age who start by joining an internship program.
This is the time when I start to see a lot of internship opportunities and feel like I'm kinda into it, I guess? Since I was deeply into HR during my college life and I can feel the A-Internship Opportunities — Talent Acquisition Intern are the one that suits me the most. Without any doubt, I applied and got the interview invitations!
ok ok is it too much for the pre-internship journey now? I bet yes. Then long story short, I got accepted as Talent Acquisition Intern at PT ALTO Network! This is the part when I finally worked in one of the beautiful buildings and gain a lot of experiences during my journey.
On the first day, I was a person who was a bit clumsy or awkward or whatever it is, but the people of ALTO Network are making me the person who I truly am. On My first months, I learn a lot about Recruitment Process, and I was also appointed as a Host for the ALTO Academy event. I was given a challenge that I didn’t know I could actually do.
As time goes by, I keep doing things that I love here. Meeting a lot of people, talked with various kinds of personalities, handling external events, and many more but yes I still can manage to finish my study during work. Do you imagine how supportive is this environment? This is what I love about it the most.
There was one time when My Manager come and tell me “Dina, I’m Taking you as part of my team, as a permanent employee”. That time, that exact moment I was speechless. There is part of me saying how grateful I am and on the other hand, am I ready with this responsibility just yet? but yes, the people's surroundings keep telling me “Dina you will definitely do it” and yes I finally declared a Permanent Employee of ALTO Network by May 13th, 2022. Now, I keep learning and doing my best in terms of everything. Did I do some errors? yes, I do, I definitely do but the thing is how you learn from it. As I stated, this is only the beginning of another journey.
