My Internship Experience

you are not going to regret that because I am convinced you will have the best internship experience.

My name is Sarah Tarnita, I am 24 years old and I graduated from Universitas Pelita Harapan Law School in 2020. My internship experience as a Legal Intern in ALTO Network is fun but quite challenging for me personally, to be honest, all of these are new to me, but one time after I extended my internship period I got a task where I had to present everything I learned from my 3 (three) months of internship, at first I was so hesitant and confused because I had to present topics which I believed all the Legal & Compliance member were already mastered, such as the history of ALTO Network where the information stated in the deed of incorporation from 1993 until the present time and also the products and businesses that we perform. After I completed my presentation, I got this realization that I was in the right team, where the people gave me information that I did not know before related to the ALTO Network businesses and that was so insightful. Glad that I am part of this team, my days of work from the office are filled with laughter because of the people here, and I am proudly saying that the people on my team are the most hardworking and smart folks I have ever met. If I can mention what are the 5 (five) things I get from my internship experience are:

1. Work-life balance;

2. It is okay to take a break once in a while, especially if you got a lot of work to do;

3. Your performance at work is most important than anything;

4. Do not hesitate to ask about everything and how to do the work until you understand;

5. Communication in the team.

If I can give my advice to whoever is currently looking for a new start as an intern in ALTO Network is that simply apply here and you are not going to regret that because I am convinced you will have the best internship experience. Okay but the real tips are to update your CV and do not forget to attach your application letter, if you are someone like me that graduated a year before and already had experience related to the “key responsibilities” as an A-Intern, do not hesitate to input the details of your previous work on CV and briefly mention during the interview so the interviewer will aware that you are capable to do the works.
